1. Client confidentiality

Any information you share with MNTR Tutoring — including your name, contact details, academic records, session notes, payment information, and anything discussed during a session or consultation — is kept confidential. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except where required to operate the service itself (for example, secure payment processing) or where required by law.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what's needed to match you with the right tutor and run your sessions smoothly:

  • Contact details you provide (name, email) through our forms or booking page
  • Academic goals, subjects, and scheduling preferences you share with us
  • Payment details, handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe) — we never see or store your full card number
  • Basic usage data (like which pages are visited) to keep the site running well

3. Tutor non-solicitation policy

All MNTR Tutoring tutors agree, as a condition of working with us, that clients matched to them through MNTR Tutoring remain MNTR Tutoring clients. Tutors may not solicit, redirect, or arrange to work privately with a client they were introduced to through MNTR Tutoring, outside of the platform and without our involvement, whether during their time with us or for a reasonable period afterward. This keeps pricing fair, ensures continuity and accountability for every family we work with, and protects the matching process that got you to the right tutor in the first place.

4. How your information is used

We use your information solely to: match you with a suitable tutor, schedule and run sessions, process payments securely, respond to your questions, and occasionally send updates you've opted into (like our newsletter). We do not use your information for advertising or share it with data brokers.

5. Data storage & security

We use reputable third-party services to run parts of our operation — including Stripe for payments, Cal.com for scheduling, and Web3Forms for contact form delivery. Each of these providers maintains its own security standards for the data that passes through them. We take reasonable steps to keep the information we hold secure, but no method of storage or transmission over the internet is ever 100% guaranteed.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time, and you can unsubscribe from our newsletter whenever you like. To make a request, just reach out through the contact form.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our services evolve. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
